Things to Know…
- Every Douglass
Student is a member of DCGA.
- Elections
are held twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall.
- Meetings are
every Tuesday at 7:30 in Trayes Hall of the DCC. ALL ARE WELCOME.
- First-years
are able to run for office.
- Your voice
matters on DCGA. So use it – Get involved and make a difference.

Members of the DCGA Assembly include:
DCGA is comprised entirely
of Douglass women. Douglass students elect the voting members of
the body. Each member is required to attend the weekly meeting, serve
two office hours per week or substitute it with another service, attend committee
meetings, and work on proposals and resolutions.

The DCGA Constitution has as its objectives:
- The development
of the individual to her maximum potential.
- The strengthening
of the college.
- Community
through emphasis on personal integrity.
- The community
responsibility of self-determination through legislation.
- The consolidation
and coordination of all college activities.
Members Responsibilities
- Gathering,
reporting back, channeling and taking action in the interest of our constituency.
- Making recommendations
on rules and regulations, matters pertaining to students, and policy
to enhance the quality of student life throughout the university.
- Having jurisdiction
over the allocation of your student activity fees to other organizations
(This is a big one if you care where your money is going!)
