Why be
a part of DCGA?
Douglass holds general elections for new body members every Fall and Spring. In Spring the entire body is elected and the Fall election helps to fill in any open seats.

and Guidelines
If you have any questions about elections or joining DCGA, please email dcga@eden.rutgers.edu.
Join
a Committee
DCGA offers every student the opportunity to join a committee that meets
their interests without having to be a voting member. Committees attempt
to reach out to and affect the Douglass community in a positive way. One
main approach is our Constituency Days, held each semester. This is
when DCGA asks the Douglass community, “What’s your problem?” After
determining what DC students feel needs to be addressed, the committees can
then take action. If you are interested in joining one of our committees email the committee chairs, call, or stop by the office!
The following are our standing committees:
How to
Help Your Class
Another way to get involved is to become a Class Executive Officer. Although
these are also elected positions, they are not voting members. They meet
with an advisor separately from the Student Assembly, with the main responsibility
of raising money for their individual class graduation ceremonies and other
class events.
